michael DELLERT has been writing for more than 20 years. His poetry and short fiction have appeared in literary journals such as The Backporch Review, The Harbinger, and Idiom. His poetry has also appeared in the anthologies The Golden Treasury of Great Poems ("The Fallen", John Campbell (ed.), World of Poetry Press, 1989) and Dance on the Horizon ("Crumpled Camel", Caroline Sullivan (ed.), National Library of Poetry, Watermark Press, 1994). Mr. Dellert is also a two-time winner of the Golden Poet Award (1988 & 1989) from World of Poetry Press.
Mr. Dellert is currently living with his wife and two daughters in the mountains of upstate New Jersey and working as a Web Production Editor with Nature Publishing Group in New York City. He is also Assistant Managing Editor of Modernism/Modernity, the official journal of the Modernist Studies Association, as well as being a Contributing Writer for Suite 101. In addition, he is also completing his Master of Arts in English Language and Literature at Drew University.
In his spare time, Mr. Dellert also coaches swimming at the Swim Fitness Center and is occassionally an assistant swimming coach for the Jersey Gators. He presently has a novel and two multimedia hypertext projects in development.
