I just finished writing an email to a friend, recommending this website, and it occurred to me that I haven't updated this first page since God was in knickers, so herewith: a general introduction to last the ages.

I've never really had any firm plan for this site, and much of it remains unfinished. But there are some particularly good essays (if I do say so myself), a handful of poems, and some fiction in various stages of completion (from barely to not at all). So feel free to peruse and I will try to make more of an effort to update more frequently.

Oh, and if you like my work, I'd love to hear about it: mdellert-AT-mdellert-DOT-com, so feel free to send me nasty (and nice) letters from time to time.
